TAP831 celebrates Victorian produce. Sourcing from the Yarra Valley and the Dandenongs, the Mornington Peninsula and other local regions, our menu features a quality range of sustainable produce.  With seasonal changes as our core inspiration, each dish is created with the integrity of the ingredient in mind, reflecting the atmosphere of TAP831 – creative, contemporary and sophisticated, yet casual.

You will love TAP831’s menu without pretension,  and especially our snazzy, wallet-friendly wines. We carefully select our wines to provide you with a range of favourites as well as something new and exciting. The list features a handful of popular vineyards and an intriguing selection of boutique wines.

Underpinning our food and drink is old-world service.  It is our approach to you that will see us become a beacon of hospitality. Our revolving entertainment, including background DJs and ambient instrumental and acoustic music, makes for stimulating and relaxing Friday afternoons and Saturday evenings. Our large LCD screens provide the ideal venue to watch the game or a major event with friends.

Our ultra-modern, two-storey restaurant and bar aims to become “everything social” about Docklands. We welcome casual visitors to join us downstairs on a first come first served basis, while larger groups and those looking for a booth on the balcony can book tables on the 1st level.

Tap 831 is a versatile venue space, specifically designed to meet your function needs. The entire venue has the capacity to accomodate 300 people, over two levels with high quality audio available. Suitable for a cocktail-style event, the top floor fits 150 people comfortably, while we tailor our booth and zoned areas for your party of 4 to 50.

In all venue spaces, our food and beverage teams look forward to consulting with you on a package that suits your needs. Drawing inspiration from the seasons, our dishes celebrate Australia’s premium produce. Through our contemporary menu and brief but brilliant wine list, our chefs and staff ensure that every aspect of your dining experience is delivered to perfection.
